Earthrise: Musici Ireland's Debut Album is Here

After 12 years of passion, dedication, and a few late-night cups of tea (and maybe a few gin and tonics!), I am overjoyed to announce the release of Musici Ireland’s debut album, Earthrise. It feels surreal to say those words. Twelve years ago, Musici Ireland was just an idea—born out of a desire to create something meaningful, give opportunities to talented artists, and make waves in the arts scene. Fast forward to today, and here we are, releasing an album that feels like a love letter to everything we’ve built together.

Earthrise isn’t just an album; it’s a culmination of years of hard work, countless rehearsals, and some seriously beautiful collaborations. One of the highlights of this project has been commissioning a brand-new concerto—something we’ve dreamed about for years. Bringing new music to life is no small feat, but it’s the kind of challenge that gets my heart racing. The process has been equal parts rewarding and nerve-wracking (because, you know, no pressure when you’re creating something entirely new!).

This album is a celebration of Musici Ireland’s evolution—a reflection of how far we’ve come since our humble beginnings in 2012. Back then, we were just a chamber ensemble with big dreams. Now, we’re embracing our identity as creators of interdisciplinary works, champions of new music, and collaborators with world-class artists.

I’m so excited to share this music with you. Earthrise is filled with moments of hope, beauty, and connection—things we could all use a little more of right now. It’s been such a privilege to work with the incredible musicians and composers who made this album possible.
